A book for an exhibition of the same name, Round Trip features 42 circular photographs taken by two young Americans who traveled across three continents on bicycles.
The design process was an exercise in restraint. How could we match the tone of such an adventurous journey without overstepping the traditional, often obligatory, bounds of visual reverence that museum-funded publications call for? PMS 2028 — a daring hot rod red ink, fit enough to tell the story of two young men brave enough to pedal over 18,000 miles.
